View Full Version : Trex 700 Electric Conversion?

I apologize if this has already been asked, but a search of "trex", "700", "electric" did not appear to present a similar thread.

I am enjoying my 600E and have watched the 90 sized nitro guys. That led me to wonder about an electric version of the 700 (surprised that Align has not done it). I found the Minature Aircraft site too confusing (ION X2) with not a lot of information that I find useful), plus, the 600E went together quite nicely and flys great; thus the interest in the larger version within the Trex family.

Has anyone tried this, or considered a 700 electric conversion? Any tips or caveats?

Thanks.

Michael

I was looking for the same info the other day. The only thing I found was a thread where some mentioned that the Trex 700 boom was the same diam. as the trex 600
and that it may be possible to use a 700's boom and tail belt and tail case on a 600. They said that the 600 head would handle the 700 mm blades. I dont think anyones tried it yet.

Hi,

As soon as I get my kit , I'll try to get my Actro and lipo's in it .
I hope it comes in this week , wenn I'm building it I'll see if the parts will fit in it .
I will fly it first with an IC engine , and if I like the way it flies I'll convert it or buy a new kit .
