Y'all seen the Tilt-Rotor Gaui is producing? Go to what's new, Scale and look up the TG-609. Images obviously borrowed from Gaui's website:

So what, is the tilt 'mixed' in the radio? Fixed pitch but the tilt and power are mixed via the Tx? Man, these could be serious trouble, not sure if I'd be able to convince my wife that this was really just one of my standard helicopters but with a different canopy though... ;)

Take a look at the August issue of RCHELI. IT has an article on the TH-2GP. This tilt rotor can't be mixed at the radio. Instead, it requires onboard mixing. The TH-2GP retails for $149.00 US. Other parts may be needed as well. This same mixing board is what is used on the Twinn Rexx. The Spetember issue of RCHELI is supposed to have an article on the Twinn Rexx. By the way the second "n"in Twinn is on purpose. I guess it is to match the double "X" in Rexx. At a very reasonable price, the main cost for the Rexx is the twin main rotors and the dual gyros required. DISCLAIMER: This is not an ad for RCHELI. I first found the TH-2GP when researching the Twinn Rexx. It's just that the article explains it pretty well.

The TH-2GP is the mixing board, not the titl rotor.

Sure reads like an ad', do we need to check your stock portfolio's and see if you have a vested interested in RC Heli magazine or what?!? :P :YeaBaby: :P

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check it out. Twinn Rexx stuffs, very cool...

Of course, if you want a cheaper tandem try the Walkera #38. It's a coaxial. Haven't heard anything about it though.
