I just knocked this simple mount together for my Pentax Optio S10. Its just a block of wood with a metal bracket at the bottom and held in place with velcro and cable ties. The trigger is operated by a GentLED. When the weather clears up I'll take my first aerial photo's :)

...gosh...I hope the 600 will lift it......a 450 would suffice

I agree it would, but i bought the 600 long before i decided i wanted to take photo's with it.

Well, the vibrations blurred my photo's, back to the drawing board on designing a better camera mount.

But at least my gps sensor worked with eLogger.

Ok, so my first mount was not very successful so this is version 2, the camera mount itself is an AskmanAP mount but i got it without the legs, i had to build them myself. Here's a few photo's.

Sorry, its a carry over joke from some other thread(s). Nothing against your mount design or anything like that.
Look forward to hearing/seeing your results.
