All,

New to the electric helis, nice not cleaning up after flights.

I'm having a problem with my 400. When I got it two weeks ago I also got a extra battery (2100). My first flight on each of the batteries lasted a little over eight min. before the ESC went to a "soft" low voltage warning. I set my Tx timer for 5 min and have flown at this setting for more than 10 flight on each battery pack. So yesterday I went out with fully charged batteries and got the "soft" warning ON BOTH at around 2 mins. thinking maybe they weren't charged all the way, I charged them both again last night. But today they both did the same thing.

Any ideas? I have the stock charger, so it only has lights...no meter. http://www.runryder.com/img/smilies/frown.gif

Anyway any help will be welcome.

P.S. Should I look into a different charger? If so what's working for you?

I've been using the stock charger for my 2200mah lipos with no problems. Measure the voltage of each cell through the charging connector. From pin 1 to 2, 2 to 3, and 3 to 4. All three voltages should be the same. I'd have to google for the proper voltage of a fully charged cell.

odd could be you battery and i believe the voltage should be about 4.1 or ,4.3 and should not go below 3.1

how dose that heli fly any ways

4.2 volts should be the end voltage for each cell. no less then 4.19

Trevor, Being a nitro 600 size heli guy, it not as smooth as the 600, but I can fly it in my back yard plus no clean-up after. I really like it, I was planning on seeing how much I would enjoy this little heli (somewhat cheap to get into) and if I liked my plans were to go with the Trex 450. At this point I don't think I'll go that way, this thing with a few upgrades (servos and gyro) would be perfict for me. If anything my next one will be the Trex 500. I would recommend the Blade 400 to anyone that can fly or has a lot of time on a sim.
