Okay, this'll be my first nitro heli so a quick question. Since there is a one-way bearing in the clutch assembly, is another one-way in the starter wand needed? Recommended? I don't have my kit yet and I've studied the exploded drawings but can't quite convince myself.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the noob question.

no. you don't need a wand with a one-way. A straight wand works great

Thanks!! That's how it looked to me. I have a very lightweight Makita Li-ion drill (18V thin profile battery, black/white style) that is a lot lighter than my old R/C starter motor. I've just received a straight shaft type wand (JR) from Heliproz and wanted to make sure it would work.
