Hey guys. I would like to find out if its normal for the Futaba 6EXHP to have gain/GYRO set at 30%? That’s the perfect amount of gain to keep my tail on my t-rex 450se from bouncing. But after ppl have told me that that’s a really low gain to be flying, it got me kind of worried. Is the 6ex known for its low gain or is there something wrong here?
Settings:
FUTABA T6EXHP TX

Dual Rates CH4= 100%
EPA CH4= 130%
EPA CH5= 100%
Trim CH4= +-0
revo= INH (inhibited)
GYRO (switch up)= +30
GYRO (switch down)=-30

401 gyro

delay= 0

Tail servo HS-56HB

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it works its not too low. Most people run too much gain anyways

IIRC, I run mine at bout 32% with my 7C.

That's about where I run mine on my 6EX too. That said, if you want to run more gain, move the ball in one hole on the servo horn. Less mechanical gain means you can run more electronic gain. Be careful though... Moving it closer to the center of the servo horn means the servo has to move further to get the same thrust from the tail rotor. This will take more time.
