Hey guys,, I have a newer O.S. Hyper 50 with a Mp2 pipe, on my TREX600 nitro, I just got the engine broke in, I have ran about 9 tanks through it, I have it tuned so I can touch the backplate after a 3 minute 3d flight and I can hold my finger on it for about 3 seconds, it is warm but not hot, , anyway I can bang it around and when I go into a inverted hover and hold it, it leans out alot,, I mean it is obvious, I have never had this happen, I am wondering what is going on , didn't know if anyone has had any experience with this, I am running 30% Cool Power fuel,, I have it on a revmax set at 2130 headspeed, but it only starts leaning when I hold it inverted, any thoughts,,

Check and make sure that there isn't any pin hole leaks in you clunk line and fuel line..... Run a header tank just incase.......

Also if that fails make sure your carb is pushed as far as it will go down, check the backplate bolts are up nice an tight, check the head bolts are also nice and tight...

Finally if that fails then change the glowplug

Also, check to make sure your klunk isn't binding in the tank. The neoprene lines expand after a while and can cause binding you wouldn't catch in the build.

You might also check out your clunk line.
It may not be in the "fuel zone" when inverted after you" bang it around a while".
As you are aware, it has to be flexable enough and not "hanging up" to draw fuel in both positions.

Sounds like your sucking air from the main tank. Put a header tank on and problem should be solved. I never fly without one.

I have a header tank on it,, when I roll and hold it inverted in a inverted hover it goes lean and stays lean, it is not fluctuating, it just picks up rpm and stays there at the same point, it is a constant speed,, If my header tank is higher than the carb by a inch or two would that matter, I think my header tank is about a 1 1/2 higher than the carb,,

I like to install my header tanks as close to the center line of the main tank as possible. By your description it sounds like your header tank is well higher than the main tank?
