I am considering a scale project using a Vario chassis or possibly a Vario Copy that is made locally. It will be a 500D fuselage. I want to run a 5 blade head swinging 800mm blades. My main question is the CCPM, I see most of the gassers run 4 point. Would 3 point CCPM be ok for the loads with good servos? I would need to upgrade my 7ch radio to get the 4 point and would rather have the funds go towards the project. I dont really need the extra channels for anything else but the model will be a good chunk of change and I would hate to have an accident in the air. I have asked around a bit and am really not getting a straight answer. TIA

Sorry, I don't have a good answer, as I haven't built anything in that size yet.

You can use a Helitronix mixer to get 4 servo ccpm from you 7ch radio. The radio will be set to non-ccpm and all the mixing will be done by the Helitronix unit. Works great.
