What's inside a RC heli gyro? I'm curious. Anyone have any pictures or something? I know its an IC chip, but I wonder whats inside it.

I had a pic of the inside of a Spartan ds760 but can't seem to locate it.

Considering how well they do their business, there doesn't appear to be enough bits inside.

do a search in the forums. Capi did an excellent writeup including the physics.

You see HFG's avatar? There's one of those inside, but smaller, running back and forth like a crazed dingo to whichever side of his 'floor' is higher.
Pretty hi tech stuff, eh?

Next time I break open my telebee gyro on a crash (wont be long) I'll take a pic.

Don't bother, there isn't anything inside worth looking at.

These are the footprints of all the parts that make a ds760 and the interconnections between them! :D

EAGLE is great... I have been using it since the MSDOS times (1993 or maybe even earlier) and obviously I am very accustomed to it. But I wanted to be open minded and I did try another 2 or 3 PCB packages before I decide which one to buy for Spartan but none seemed to offer anything exceptional over EAGLE. With the EAGLE UPLs you can do wonders!
