Check out this site http://www.raptortechnique.com/.
Or just set the pitch up for Low -3, Mid 0 and High +9 or +10.

This could be your air/fuel mix, Sounds like when it gets off the idle needle is where the problem is.

Way to test it, write down your pitch curve for normal mode, make the pitch curve a flat line at zero degrees pitch so the heli will not fly. start the engine and feed in throttle, when the carb comes off the idle needle does the engine bog, sputter, slow down? If so the problem is your high side needle. If not, sorry, I dont know.

Check all your fuel line for any holes.
Check the screw holding the carb to the engine is still there, if not its drawing more air (going lean).
Check the presure line from the muffler
Lastly check for a flap of plastic in the header tank left over due to manufacturing. This flap can be found inside the tank where the fuel line connects from the main tank and can be obstructing the flow.

Sounds like it's a problem with the transition between the low and high needle.

Take it apart and clean it, then adjust to factory, it should at least fly.

Thanks guys I will try those things.I like the idea about 0 deg pitch for run up.By the way I talked to Heliproz,, they did not have anything good to say about a thunder tiger 39 engine.

1. problem with needles, read raptortechnique.com and read how to tun the engine. If the mixture of needles is not good, the heli will not lift off the ground. Even better, ask somebody around to help you to tun it.

2. TT39 is pretty bad to tun, good luck

If you can afford the extra cost pick up a OS 37 and be done with it. You will / should be happy that you did.

The TT39 is a very difficult engine to tune and is not worth the time and effort you will lose trying to set it up properly.
