Hope this is not a repeat if so I appoligize------
Blades removed, I can twist the grips, not much but about a 1mm slop, I think this vibrates on start-up rpm before it reaches hi rpm. Again twisting the grips not flexing them. I tried tightening the bolts on the inside end, moved only slightly, whats your views? BTW this heli has not been flown a lot, mabe 20 flights, am a Newb.
Thanks people.

That could be the tolerance in the washout block and the head block pins, it sounds acceptable.
Your heli will wobble on low RPM until it speeds up and the rotors strech out

I have that 1mm slop as well. which translated to about 0.5 degree of slop to the blade. I am a bit dissapointed for Mini titan metal head due to that.

I stick sticker to the inside of the washout base to reduce the play between the head pin and the wash out base. that helps a little.

But most of the slop is contributed by the upper mixing arm. when you twist the grip you can see that is small sideways movement in the upper arm.

i was wondering would a Kasama upper mxing arm would give a near zero slop? am not sure whether it fits?

anyone can comment?

File down the bolt or bushing to take up the slop. Most of it comes from the washout base and pins i believe

Kasama mixing levers does not fit, but with a little patience and a file, you can get near zero slop or sideways play on these levers.

filed down the bolts. yeah.... it's near zero slop.

now it zero downs to the only slop contributor, which is the wash out base...

thanks.
