Does anybody know if the Honey Bee CP2 is the same diameter as the HBFP? I want to get a longer main shaft for my fiber frame to get the rotor head higher to solve the clearance issue.

Yes, the diameter is the same.

Also, is it longer?

Yes, but I don't have any left so I can't check just how much longer. I think they were longer than the Compy FP shafts (http://www.aero-fever.net/product_info.php?currency=USD&cPath=20_30&products_id=536) I use on the Guru-Z frame. Both will require a new set of servo pushrods, so you might as well test both and see which you're happier with.

Thanks. I have one coming in the mail. I didn't know about the longer pushrods, though. I guess I'll see how long they need to be once the shaft will arrive.

I forgot to ask. Which pushrods would work? Would the pushrods from CP2 work?

I'm not sure if they would be long enough. I went straight to ball links and I think I swiped the rods off a Belt CP head assembly.

The CP2 Main axis is slightly less than half an inch longer than the FP Main axis

Hmm, that might definitely require longer push rods even when using the Guru fiber frame.
