G'day all

Yes, Thunder Titan have managed to confuse me again.

I am attempting to set up the pitch linkage.

During the build I set the ball link to the inner position on the pitch control arm (page 8, item number 10 in the manual for those checking up on what I am talking about).

(On page 19) I set the link that goes from the pitch push pull lever (the lever is attached to the servo by two small links of 30mm) to the pitch arm at 45mm.

So, using the built in pitch gauge and setting the pitch arm at the 'hover' position, the link to the pitch arm should be at about 36mm to keep the push pull lever even. The recommended length of 45mm is way to long.

What am I missing (apart from sanity)?

Thanks

John

Get a pitch gauge, that built in thing is useless.

http://www.raptortechnique.com has the correct linkage lengths.

I went through some of the same thing on my 90 and was told to just make the links what they need to be to work.

When you are at zero pitch on blades and the built in one is at zero everything should be level and hippy skippy ya dig.If that is the case, you should be good to go but you'll need to check everything before you maiden it, check for binding and adjust as needed.

You will likely figure out "the why" later, I did. and it wasn't an issue.
