I put a couple flights on the Blade this morning, and thought I'd take a couple pics to show you guys where I fly. Everything went real smooth, just some fig8's piros and big circles. I was alone except for my flying buddy, so no in-the-air pics...:(
The field is pretty large, and is completely surrounded by slopes that help to break the wind a lot. And luckily there's only 1 stand of trees...

Yeah, his name's Ruger. We've got about a 2 mile walk to the park, and along the way is a shopping center where it's nice to stop and take a break from the heat and watch people go by.

Ha Ha! That's why I carry everything I need to fly and setup in the original box the heli came in. Only difference, I painted the whole thing matt black, no nothing whatsoever to indicate what's inside.
The only bad thing is if I'm flying at the park, draw a few watchers, and then eat it like the helicopter's a suddenly recovered anorexic that can only sustain a diet of grass and dirt... Carrying everything back and forth is hard on the shoulder, though.

That ain't me! I'm still young and... kidding myself a little I guess as it is my 30th this year.
As to the dog, looks like some kind of collie or collie cross.
