can i use 550 mm blades with my 550

i have the short boom ,i think they say use 500 mm what do you think?

Pick up the long boom and belt. If you're running the tail servo on the frames you'll need the longer tail rod.

you will get real close to the tail blades....and you can use the extra lenght of the longer boom to counterac the torque of the biger blades....

i got the 550 blades with the chopper ,the guy threw them in ,i have not even finished building it , but saw a deal on 550 carbon, and thought i would ask you guys, i am only going to be doing basic flight ,with a upgraded motor so i will see if these 550 blades work that he gave me if not i will drop to 500 mm

the good thing about buying the long boom and belt....is ifyou really don't like the long boom...you just cut it down....your only out the belt.....and could probably sell it. for 1/2 back...
