I asked the scorpion motor question a couple of weeks ago and was told they wouldn't be up to task.
I have since been talking to a mate who was using a 3026-1400kv in a trex600 with 11t pinion and 600mm V blades and getting better results than his 600xl motor. He did have trouble keeping his speedy cool though (Scorpion 120A).
I don't know a lot about electrics so you probably get better advice from some of the guru's on here.

scorpion does not as of yet have a high voltage BAD ASS motor. Their small stuff is great....they just don't have anything that will push a logo 5/600 to its limits.
Theres some hackers, actros, z-powers, and even some nues that will all do the job admirably.
Check some of the pinned threads at the top for some good power systems.

Check out the Hacker Electric Turbine motors. They will deliver the goods at a reasonable cost.

If you are really determined to get everything at Amain then check out the Hacker A40-10L. Good motor at a good price. Then get a Castle 85HV from their as well and you'll be set as far as power systems go.

There are quite a few on here running this motor and are quite happy with it. I'm running the 8L version which delivers a bit more umph but costs in battery consumption as well.
We have had quite a few customers using the HK3026 series in their Trex 600 and logo 500's with alot of success, however Scorpion are about to release a HK4025 motor series designed specifically for 600mm bladed or 50 sized machines! check out a video here http://www.trextuning.com/blog/?page_id=604

Like any other equipment question, you'll get a bunch of opinions. I've been flying lately in my Logo 500 the new Hacker A40-10L-8 Electric Turbine with the Jazz 55-10-32 ESC with a 15 tooth pinion, 550 blades, and the battery being the TP 6S 5000 V2 Extreme. The performance of this motor is as good as it gets for a Logo 500. Very powerful, yet runs cool. Other ESC's work as well, but the governor and performance of the Jazz is well proven and is hard to beat.
Now, stand-by for another opinion :).
Take care, Dave Dahl.

I rather like my Neu 1910/1Y/H and Jazz 80-6-18...
