I have a belt cp that I am yet to get off the ground successfully. Its first flight ended when the stock ESC burst into flames. Parts lost: ESC, battery, rotor blades, main gear.

I have since replaced all the damaged parts. I used an align 25a ESC, carbon blades, OE battery, and an OE main gear set.

I setup the ESC using the included directions and chose the heli option set. When attempting to take off, it will get an inch or so off the ground and want to flip on its left side. (Left side of rotors will almost make contact with the ground)

What the heck is wrong with it? All trims are adjusted... all servos are working..

Take a photo of your head when both sticks are centered (unplug the motor to do this test or throttle hold).

Yep, what HFG said, that way we can diagonose it better. It sounds like your swash is not level.

When I started out I had this. My swash was level at centre sticks.

What I missed was that the swash tipped and by 3/4 stick it was right over. I didnt realise it had to be level throughout the travel :arggg:

Ahhhh, that sounds like you need to get your swash mix correct so that when you increase throttle/pitch, ALL 3 servo's move up with it and down as well.
