I've been flying and tweaking my little Guai for a couple of weeks now and thought I'd share some of what I've learned
Guai EP200 belt drive, stock motor,esc,battery, 3Xhs45, logitech 2100/3100, DX7
I originally had the tail servo ball at 10.5mm from the servo center and 65 gain on the DX7 gyro sens menu and still had a slight wag mostly in hover that I couldn't get rid of by changing the gyro gain. Moved the ball to 8.0mm and set the gain up to 76 eliminating the wag.
When flying slow circuit in a 15 X 40 meter area the heli would settle as I lost transation lift in slow turns and I really had to add more throttle/collective than I liked. Curves were:
Throttle N 0 50 80 - 100
Id1 100-80- 100
Pitch N 40--50--100
Id1 0--------100
Change to:
Throttle N 0--60--85--100
Id1 100--85--100
Id2 100--90--100
Pitch curves unchanged
After bumping up the throttle just a few points and flying circuit in Id1 the headspeed and altitude control were much improved
BTW does anyone know where the name Guai comes from and how you pronounce it?
