Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can buy the CopterX head online with the suitable swash for the Belt? I've seen it talked about a lot, but cannot find it on ehirobo (they said they dont have anything suitable for the Belt), cnchelicoper or xheli.

Appreciate the help.

Thanks

I think you're going to have to buy the swashplate separately. I have about a hundred online suppliers in my bookmarks, and I have never seen a CopterX head with a Belt CP compatible swashplate. The 3DX head is available as a Belt upgrade package from cnchelicopter, but no CopterX combo anywhere.

OK thats cool. Which blades to suit from cnchelicopter.com? Im after something the equivalent of the wooden Align Pros? A search on that page gives heaps of woodies but they all look similar to the esky/cheapo woodies I have already - however I understand this head takes slightly thinner blades?

Yes, it uses T-Rex blades that are 2 mm thinner at the root. You're right, all those woodies do look exactly like the stock Eskys... But with decent carbons (http://www.cnchelicopter.com/servlet/the-889/trex-3dx450-HDX450-325mm/Detail) at $15.99, why bother with wood at all? I had a pair of those on my HDX450, and they fly very well. They will easily outlast two pairs of woodies, so they're much better value for money too.

I think I crash too much to go for carbons.. I know they are supposed to be strong.. but I don't know if they are strong enough for my hack flying...

I bought mine from this guy. The swash was correct on the item I purchased. Couldn't fault the service. This may be the same item, but not clear to me. E-mail the seller to check if it is the correct version of the swash, if you are unclear.

As for carbons, I would take the gamble. I used to regularly break woodies, costing me lots, but it has now taken me months to break only one set of carbons. Then again I have got a little better but they do survive crashes surprisingly well. Of course if you are unlucky they will still break but my guess is that my Align 315 carbons have saved me loads.
