I ordered my 200 today from readyheli, at checkout the order said they had the belt drive in stock. I went and placed the order. A few minutes later they called and said the belt dr. was out of stock, without thinking i told them to ship the shaft dr.
Could someone provide me with a parts list for the hot setup belt dr.
I really wanted the belt but i guess i got the shaft.
Oh well its nothin but money.
Thanks Les :woohoo

I should make mistakes like that ;-)
Sorry I don't have the parts list with me, but I'd hold off until you've flown it a few times.
It's just a crown gear that's the problem. Once they're back in stock buy a dozen.
<it's only as bad as the gears in your Blade 400 servos!!!> (I am such a rat... ;-)

Thanks guys, i saw the post. the other day i was having trouble putting together a complete list, was a little confused.
So i reposted to see if there was any updates on what was working or not.
Use specialk's list with the correction of #203189 tail booms, and add 303325 metal parts?
Correct?
Thanks Les

Hey Guys, I'm on the road working so don't have access to all of my resources at home or would put the list out. If I get time on my next days off at home next week, I will try and put together an SD to SE article that can be also put in *******! Mine conversion is pretty much done, just waiting for the LogicTech gyro and servo to replace the 3154 I burned out. From what I have seen and heard, I would suggest a MicroHeli tail assembly. When I switched to the stock belt tail assembly, the tail vibrated a lot more. Checked everything and it is tight, no slop in the bearing mount and blades are balanced. Others have said the MH tail helps. I'll be ordering one once someone has them back in stock!
On a side note, the only gear I ever striped on the SD was the one on the end of the carbon fiber tail rotor drive shaft, not the crown gear as most say they strip. Was checking things over on the SD setup I took off and found the bearing on the tail rotor end of the SD tail boom was pushed up inside the tail boom. Then dimples were not deep enough to keep it from sliding further up the boom, out of place. This could have contributed to the stripping of the gear as it allowed the carbon fiber drive shaft to be unsupported at the end and flex, changing the gear engagement. Might be worth putting green locktite on them to keep them in place if you can do it without fouling the bearing.

anyone who has done the conversion or already has an SE...would really appreciate some color pics of the belt setup (with close-ups) to help those converting...I have the parts and am ready to go but the b&w manual with tiny photos is not offering much help.
