X9303 with GV1 and GY401

I have been flying with my trusty Futaba 9CH radio but recently got the X9303. I have found several links where some are using the gear channel for the gyro and some use it for the governor. My question is that with both a gyro and gov which works best on the gear channel and does anyone have a gv1 setup on an aux channel. I am having to learn this new JR Radio but anxious to get my Rappy in the air with it.

You have to use Aux2 for the gyro and the gyro sense menu if you run a Gov. The 9303 only allows the gov on Gear.

You can run the gyro on the gear channel, without a gov.
