Mini Titan on 4S1P Lipo questions

I came across youtube video which showed Team TT bert Magbanua flying the stock motor with 4S1P, at 14.8 V rather than the 11.1V at 3S. And it's monster!!!

i am tempted to get a 4s1p but my friend said though the Stock ESC can take but the motor can't and it may shorted the motor lifespan..

has anyone done this before ?

did you try running on 4's or has anyone tried it .
what motor could I use

since no one has replied, did not try this. it'll work, but it's the longevity issue of the motor that is of concern. you have to use the lower pinion too.

Flying on 4S from the last six month, now with outrage battery. Cooler, longer flight time and plenty of power.

Using 10 and 11 T pinion.

i see you are not using stock motor and esc. wonder 4s will work on stock motor & esc... have seen vids on 4s, the minititan seems to be on steriod.
