O.k.
I asked about the availability directly to Mikado. And what is causing the delay.
Their answer:
Hello Maurice,
I am told we will ship by the end of the month. There is no reason to speculate. Anyone who has made a product like this knows the many steps and tests that have to be done.
Best regards
Inge
MIKADO
So should'nt be long anymore. I'm willing to wait a bit longer if that contributes to the quallity. No half done products.
Germans.....you just got to love their gründlichkeit ;)

I figured it wouldn't be much.
I'm waiting and watching the whole flybarless side of the hobby....Align is working on a flybarless system and it is in testing. JR is working on one too and has been for 10 months. As for Futaba.... I'm sure they got their hand in the pot by now and are testing. When these hit the market within the next year, you will see V-bar and Skookum dropping their prices to compete.
With all that being said and you own a good tail gyro.... I wouldn't buy anything other than a Skookum at this point in time. The software is nice and intuitive, A+ support and good price tag.

I would counter that by saying that I have never had a tail gyro as solid as the v-bar (including 611's).
I had a 611 and I don't regret shelfing it for a second as the v-bar point blank out performs it.

I love the way the vbar makes my tail feel.
and I also love the simplicity of having ONE (3 axis) gyro to control the whole helicopter. Saves on wiring and keeps the heli looking clean :)

I was fooled by this a month ago as well....I ordered directly when the green light showed up. It was a false alarm. They explained me when they update their site, the inventory marks that it is available, but it isnt. So only because of the upload of new data for the site.
Anyway...it should be in stock soon. But It's holliday time allover Europe. I'm guessing it will still take some extra time.
My money for the Vbar was burning a hole in my pocket.....I bought a JR X9303...the Vbar has to wait now.

That is going to suck, 700$ for a vbar system, and the skookum is cheaper :WOW:WOW
I think i will wait for the Probar.

Basically something like a sk360 but with a built in tail gyro,Eco8ator or something like that is designing it. There is a large thread here, on RCgroups and RR on it.

Proof ?
how do you mean? proof of what?
The UK price has gone from 500+ to 319.99. this brings it in line with the US price, which is great :) Maybe "price fix" was wrong, more the fact that we are getting the same price as the US.
Proof for everything in US being value for money? look at the UK prices for EVERYTHING :D

Exactly,
The price drop was for the EU. Because the dollar was low everyone was buying the set overseas IMO.
right now a V-bar + trex600 head conversion kit goes for 475 - 500 Euro. Which is nice. I can't imagine that Mikado would drop the prices in the US...That would start the same story allover again. And I would be waiting again for a kit to become availlable in the US and buy it there (yeah I risk the customs fee)
