View Full Version : almost done need one thing answered on servos

putting together my new 550 all servos and gyro working,i just have a quick question ,when hooking up the servos to the receiver,when it says right front,how am i looking at the chopper from the tail or the front,and it says right front and left side but i have servos on top of each other in the front, and one in the rear and then a tail which is working fine ,i can finish once i get this answered ,thank you

The one in the rear of the CCPM is the elevator servo. The other two in the front (doesn't matter which - heli nose) are the aileron and pitch servos. It doesn't matter which one you decide to plug into the aileron and aux (pitch) connector on the receiver. As long as 3 servos working in unison, you are ok.

great i had them right and they are working are these large servos susposed to make a humming noise when actaved ,my 600 did it i thought something was wrong at first but it was fine,these are hitec 6965hb,they all are doing it but work fine ,i dont hear anthing on my little servos on my 450 except what you hear when they move, these hum almost like if you were near highvoltage wires only when they start moving they are silent when not moving,

Most digital servos hum, not usualy a problem
