I was looking at buying a trex but the hobby shop had a sweet deal on the mx 400. I was just looking for some info on what people are running on this thing for some 3d stuff. Like what servos speed control etc. I want to go with all futaba and plan to put a 401 in it.

It's a clone of the Ark 400, most T-Rex parts will interchange.
For a comparision of features www.trextuning.com had one that was pretty comprehensive.

Hey John,
I have a Ark X400 here in the box. Going to start building it this week. I'm off work for Thanksgiving week ! :mrgreen:
I flew my Mini Edge 540 yesterday..... SWEEEEEETTTTT !!! First class little plank ! :smokin:

Hey John,
I'm gonna give the stock one a whirl first, it's a ARK Esc and a ARK motor, I'm sure they are Align, or HiMax or whoever they are using.

I'm running a mega 16/15/3 and kontronik 40-6-18, it has a gov and slow start up..
2650 head speed with a 12 thooth pinion and stock blades..
