450 lost tail control with 401 gyro

all of a sudden, the heli started to do slow piros and I have checked everything but all controls seem to be operating fine..........the 401 blinks constantly........is this normal? heli has been flying fine until this happened suddenly..........any ideas?

Did you check the switch on the gyro that reads norm and rev to see if maybe it got switched
