Hello everyone, I hope this is the right place for this thread. I am in Queensland Australia and am waiting for my Trex700 to come in. I have been busy reading/downloading everything I can find about building the Trex700, including Bob's excellent build videos. Today at my local club I was talking about the YS91st that I had ordered from Cyberheli for my build and the subject of Nitro fuel cost came up. (I just bought 4 liters of it for $100 oouch!) One of the guys mentioned the Webra 91-P5Hi gasser engine and about how economical the gassers are compared with nitro's. Needless to say My order for the YS91st is on hold as I am interested in this engine, along with the advantages of longer flight times cheaper fuel. It seems odd to be talking about Gass as being cheap when it costs $1.59cents a liter ($1.54 us) here, but it's not that much when compared with the cost of Nitro. So here I am after searching the net for anything I could find concerning this engine. Has anyone put one of these into a Trex700 yet? Is it feasible, what are the Pro's and con's of such a build. Any info at all would be appreciated.

As for the engine sorry... no clue. I doubt that with the 700 being so new anyone has tried a mod for that engine yet.

i read ALOT on the Webra gas motor on the other forum and nobody, NOBODY I saw got it to run worth anything. Maybe they fixed it, or the people running the motor didn't know what they were doing. But It scared me away, b/c I could have gotten a hell of a deal on one.
