Hi

I have the rear bearing on my YS50 completely shot.

Anyone removed one before and can help with a bit of information on how to do it?

The front which is ok has come out with a bit of heat.

Take the carb and regulator off the crankcase. Strip the crancase of all parts except the rear bearing. Heat an oven to 350 degs. Place the crankcase in the oven for about 20 mins. Put a leather glove on and remove the crankcase from the oven. Take the crankcase and slam it down onto a piece of wood. The bearing should fall out. Insert new bearing while crankcase is still warm and then reassemble the engine.

You need to make sure the bearing goes in straight and all the way:
