DCP Mix, too much/too little?

Still trying to get the CH46 dialed in. Using a TH2. How do I tell whether I have too much or too little DCP dialed in? I have been reducing the amount of CH5 mix and the elevator seems to be better. But what do I look for if I have too much or too little DCP?

On the 450 size tandems, about 5mm DCP with full elevator throw seems about right. But it all boils down to 'feel'. Adjust it till it feels right.
