I have a hawk pro with a os 37...it has around 20-25 flights on the motor and everything was going fine until Saturday,I went up and was hovering around for about 3-4 minutes when the motor just died.It didn't sputter or hiccup or anything it just stalled, well I did my first auto and got away with out any damage(whew!). I know the motor is not lean, maybe even a little on the fat side, but when I pulled the plug the coil had a whitish almost shiny appearance and it seemed a little distorted, yes it looked like a plug out of a over lean motor, but I know its not lean!!! also I put the plug back in(no spares w/ me) and the motor fired right up,didn't fly just started it to run the fuel out of the lines. so what do ya think?

Muffler leak causing low tank / fuel pressure?

How long had you been flying that glow plug? Maybe it was just at the end of its service life.

took off header tank and put in a new plug.......flies for a minute or two then just shuts off.
when I try to rerstart I have to give it a litle throttle trim and crank longer than normal(usually fires up immediatly)

o.k. I can't explain this but I figured out why it kept "stalling".My govenor was for some reason telling my throttle servo to go to the closed posotion for a nansecond then back to the previous position....I went ahead and reprogrammed my gov and haven't had an issue all day.as for that plug I mentioned that looked lean, there was a pin hole in a fuel line, caused the lean condition but wasn't the cause of the stalling. thanks for all the help and suggestions...
