Alright... got a 500 on the way with a couple 5s 3300 FP packs.

Someone please tell me what charger to buy! My head is spinning from all the good/bad I am reading.
If possible (i'm open for opinions) it would be nice to NOT have a separate power supply. Open for suggestions though.

TP 610 or 1010 or MRC super brain or Bantam......geeeshhhh.

I would rather spend less then 200 bucks if that's even possible, want my lipos to be treated well and want to not have any fires well I am at it :-)

So far, satisfied with the TP-610 ... only thing is that it can't slow charge Nimh / nicads (min charge rate 0.25 Amps). I'm charging 6s 2500mah packs for the most part.

Throw the Hyperion DUO in the equation, really nice charger. Can charge 2x 6s packs .

Also, do a search for user KGFly here on Helifreak, he has several charger comparisons. Great information.

Thanks for the info. so far...

It appears any charger worth anything is going to require a external power supply?
No biggie, I just want to do it right the first time.

The Bantam BC6-10 looks like a winner. Didnt see the review before.

I would recommend the e-Station BC6-10. First it supports all lithium types and with 200 watts of power & 10 amp charge rate max, you'll not have any issues with ant batteries you get into. The BC6-10 is very easy to use, one of the most simplistic to program use chargers on the market for a multi-chemistry charger.

If you watched Finless' video review, you saw how easy it is. Also, Bantam supports more various balance taps than most including TP.

High power units do require a power supply as only lower powered units can have built in AC. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you for the reply and information Evan!

EDIT: Just want to say how helpful Evan was on the phone. Ended up with the BC6-10 and a power supply.
Great customer experience and I would recommend RC Accessory to anyone.
