Hi, I have recently purchased a logo600 with a Orbit 30-12E and Powerjazz. The PJ has what looks to be 5.5mm bullets and the 2 x batteries has these connectors also. Problem is I can't charge these batteries as all my other setups have always been deans.

I am having trouble sourcing the bullets here in OZ and I have plenty of the real deans lying around but i am unsure weather or not they can take the amperage that the bullets can?

Would it be ok to use deans?

thanks tim

deans or bullets doesnt matter much in terms of performance, Ive done testing on it.

Cablesize matter more.

If i had to choose between Deans or Bullets..... I'd go bullets for sure. Not that Deans are bad.... just hard to assemble for me. I've read EVERY how to and watched EVERY videos help on them and have wasted what feels like half my life learning the art of Deans assembly. So please guys don't post another 10 step Deans tutorial.

I'm currently testing the new Traxxas connectors. They are a lot like Deans but they have a nice protective case that surrounds the connector. So fare they are EASY to assemble and look robust enough for a 600E heli with room to spare. They still require soldering, but if you follow the directions closely they turn out perfect. They have a nice area to grip onto so your not tugging on wires. I'd like to see them tested on a 90E heli..... hint hint.

After looking at the wiring on the PJ and the denas close by it looks way too hard for my soldering skills to be putting such a big 10aug wire on a little plug.

The main problem I am having is that the plugs already installed on it are what seems to be 6-6.5mm and the male seems to somewhat free wheel a little. Which to me would be a bit of a stress reliever on the wires when unplugging.
