Hi!

I'm setting up my heli with a GV-1 on my 14MZ. I have got the GV-1 to work as I want, but I have had to follow a slightly different route than I thought I had to. I'll explain.

In the GV-1 you have three methods of switching it on/off.

1. You can use the throttle-channel (this function is Inhibited in the GV-1 in my particular case as I don't want to use that method)

2. You can use the speed-setting channel-input in GV-1. When set to less than 1000rpm the GV-1 switches off. This channel is assigned as GOV1 in the 14MZ.

3. You can use a separate channel (as long as the mixture-mixing is inhibited in the GV-1). This channel is assigned as GOV2 in the 14MZ.

I don't get the Governor menu in the 14MZ to use method nr. 3 (separate on\off channel) to work as I thought it would. I supposed that the channel called GOV2 in the 14MZ would be the on/off channel. The manual says that both GOV1 and GOV2 should be set to "NULL" in the function menu to allow the Governor menu have full control over these channels. But I don't ever get any action on the GOV2.

The workaround is to assign a separate switch to control GOV2 and manually turn the Gv-1 on/off with that switch.

Have anyone else got this to work properly without the "workaround" ?

Regards
