Firstly let me just say Hi to everyone, it's been a while since I been online as I have been rushing back and forth to Kuwait and busy as can be!

Anyways, finally got out with my belt again last night. Last time I flew her (around 4 weeks ago) I got her setup just right, tracking perfect and flying as well as I can manage! So, last night get her out, quick check to make sure nothing loose and off I fly. Hmm, horrible sound from the blades indicating my tracking must be out, quick visual check and yep, 1" difference in planes.

So, bring her down and do a more thorough check and find that my blade pitches are well out. One side is -10, -5, +4 and the other blade is -7, -2, +7. I know for a fact that last time out I set her to be -3, +2, +10 on both sides then a tiny tracking adjustment and she was set. (This is in normal mode with my curves adjusting, idle up is -6, +2, +10)

So, does anyone else have little gremlins that come out whilst you are away and change your entire setup whilst you are not looking? Didn't have time last night so hopefully tonight will get a chance to strip the head down and resetup from scratch.

Cheers

Gerd

Well I haven't experienced that yet but I know that if you leave the blades they can go sloppy... especially if you leave then open like when they are about to fly..

Ps. Thanks for the main gear I bought from your website the other day... It is much stronger than the stock one..

Cheers, Jonny

I have those gremlins. I find that no matter how perfectly I set things up, if I check a week later there's always a link or two that needs a turn, or the servo arms have mysteriously wandered off center.

I need infrared goggles so I can set up an ambush for the little buggers

I think it may be the Trex flyers from the local club, annoyed that my cheap heli flies so well they break into my house at night and twiddle with everything ;)

Jonny, you are welcome glad to be of service.

However, I have closed the site now as it was becoming to time consuming and I am away so often it was a pain.

If anyone from here still wants shafts, feathering shafts or main gear I will be keeping a little stock for my own use and will gladly sell a few of them.

Yes, there are definitely heli gremlins at work. They go after any heli that hasn't flown for 24 hours. They twist blades, bend links, move tail servos and twist ball links.

They also suck energy from batterries, puff LiPos and screw up Tx and sim settings.

My cat can see them. He spits and hisses at my work bench and then tears off chasing them over to the sump pump in the basement.

My black Lab can see them too, but since he can't eat them, he's not interested.

This is Joe on gremlin patrol -

I have a cat... They are the best pets you can ever have. Their fur is soo smooth:P And I love it when he purrs :D:D:D...

I have lts and lots of animals... such as birds, rabbits, cats and tortoises lol...

Unfortunatly our cockatiles are outside... They used to be inside and they became tame but not you can go by them with out them squeeling:(

Anway back on topic... My heli is on a shelf by my bed so if those gremlins came into my bedroom I would see them. And I think they know what I would do to them if I caught them swinging on my swashplate...

But seriously I know where your comeing from... Its the same with other stuff... You put something down and then a few seconds later its not longer in sight!! Its as if something is perpously messing with you!

Oh well....
