View Full Version : What is everyone using for main blade grip bolts on the Logo 600

I know it has been brought up before but is there a direct replacement for the weak non-shanked bolts that come with the Mikado kits for the main blade grips that hold the blades?

I use KSJ hardened shanked ones, I think I got em from Heliproz....

I can't remember which ones, I would shoot them an email for difference between these two sets, they look the same though?

I know I could run down to the hardware store and pick some up and cut them down but easy=good for me.

only ever use hardened (black) bolts for blades, use standard ones at your own peril!!!

Wow, are the original bolts that weak?

I've put on 30-40 flights for each of my helis and haven't noticed a problem. Am I missing something?

They are hardened, I am running 2300-2400 HS on all 600s, and also know a few peeps with 90 size machines running these bolts with 2100 Headspeed swinging 710s with no issues to speak of.

I just looked in my tinkle trunk and the ones I have are the (1) pair pack, as stated they work good and I have been running these in several machines since I got in the hobby with no issues ever to speak of in regards to bending etc.

That being said if you wish to have shanked bolt for the 6003D, these are the ones I run and work great.

mine would always bend before the 5th flight most on the first. till i switched to the previously mentioned ones. i could tell cause my blade tracking would go off and i would get vibs.

Mikado uses hard shank 12.9 for quite a while now ..
