I just came across a video of a hurricane ep425 and was wondering if this is out in the US yet, if it is has anyone here flown it? How it is, good bad ehh?
Thinking about getting one as my second 500 class bird but can't seem to find much on it.
Thanks.

At one time Ready Heli had them listed on there site, they still show it listed under the parts category but not the kits. I was wondering myself if it was going to be available. Would like to add it to my Gaui collection.

Couldn't get parts - so they dropped it.

it's been released in the US for a long time... but it seems no one really is interested in it. it costs more than the 550 and while you can get the kits, no one carries parts.

Supposedly it's the same head as the 550. Could convert a 550 to basically the same.. Course the frames are different but it did seem almost pointless.

lol.. the frames aren't that different. just chop the nose off the 550 frame

According to the spec’s its about the same size as the Trex 500, which is a little smaller than the 550.

yes.. it's smaller than the 550.. they used a shorter boom and chopped the nose of the 550 frame. that's it.. that's the big difference.. not that it matters, no one is supporting it. if you really want a 500 (425) class heli get a HDX, a Trex or a MSH the hurri 425 was a lot heavier than those

For a smashing good times, get the Trex 500 , 3D right out the box.

I am considering a Trex 500, however not to keen on the idea of a smashing good time.

I got a Trex 500, and love it. I just need more :)
The 425 looked nice, I like the size and the looks, but not if its a brick.
Oh well, guess I'll keep looking. Maybe a gaui 200...

If you do, its a very tough heli, better tough than light weight, last thing I want to do is change a plastic frame, might as well get a new kit if that is the case.
