I am wondering about this, since I'm using small 4 mm gold connectors for my Spirit Li. I heard lehner had 6mm plugs, but whats used in the IonX?

Deans Ultra work great in mine too.

Anderson Powerpole connectors are another good choice.
They're available in 15, 30, 45 and 75 amp sets from Power Werx (http://www.powerwerx.com/).

I have heard the Anderson Connectors are better and have less resistance than the Deans Ultra's is that true?

Anderson claims a contact resistance of 0.0001 ohms. don't know for sure what the Dean's connector's resistance is.
I initially switched to the Powerpoles because my 12 year old son had a hard time getting the Dean's connectors apart.
Pluses, IMHO, are easy of assembly/disassembly, no exposed contacts, low resistance, same housing is used for the 15, 30, 45 and 75 amp connectors - one type connector for every thing I'm using on my Helis from Micros up to my Nitros.
A good review of the Powerpoles can be found here (http://www.flyrc.com/articles/using_powerpole_1.shtml).
