Hi All
I know this thread is not that appropriate in this place... but i thought maybe some other t-700 freaks search for such kind of information here in the first place.
anyway... could someone point be at some websites or give me a basic break-in procedure for the ys 91 sr, please ?
@bob... as you have an ys on the aurora... is there anything special you had done during break-in ?
thanks a lot guys !

No not really... I ran it at the stock reccomended settings for the needles. Ran great but slightly rich. I have since went in about 3 clicks on the high end needle after a gallon of fuel.

thanks bob
so i'll be going to hover it a minute... idle a minute, hover again for the first 2 tanks.. right?
at what time did you turn on the governor ?

I had the gov on from the first flight!
Normal was 1700, idle 1 was 1900, idle 2 was 2000 but I stayed off that until I had 2 tanks through the motor.
BTW guys as per the instructions you REALLY do not breakin the engine! Your only getting the ring to seat!. This is not like a non-ringed ABS engine with an interference fit of the piston! Break in is SHORT and really just tuning. BUT the ring does need to seat and it will do this in about 4-5 tanks and keep going from there! You don't really need to run a ringed engine super fat.... Fly it, enjoy it, and just don't go too lean!
When in doubt.... Richen it out!

Hi Bob
Thanks a lot for that... i really appreciate that help and valuable information you give to us all !!
maiden was today at pretty much went very well... i just ran a non governed normal throttle curve in normal... 1600 in idle1 ... 1700 in idle2 for the beginning.
the only thing which was not so "funny" is that the sound of the rotor, while spinning up and during pitch changes, sounds like some bearings going mad at me.
I don't know yet... which bearings or if they move because of missing glue to the bearing case.
