I owe this to a book I just read. I beleive my Lee Child, I forget which title as I've read most of his 'Jack Reacher' novels in the past 3 weeks, but I beleive it's "Without Fail". And before anyone comments, no they were not applying helicopter canopies in the book.

Anywho, I was having a bit of an issue on getting my canopy grommets to "easily" slide onto the canopy posts. Used a bit of squalene oil to help them slide on easily. Now it's really hard to come by hehe as there are only a few sources of it, one of which is shark liver. Another is our human nose/forhead oil. I know I can fry a slab of bacon by the end of the day my forhead gets so oily , bought damm time I put it to use hehe!.

Wipe your thumb and index finger on your nose/forehead, and then rub it on canopy post!

Anyway, thought someone might get some use out of this as it's a cheap/free easy way to get that canopy on :)

It sounds a little gross, but if this works, I almost wish I had a teenager in the house for steady supply...:P
