I had cut my clunk line a bit to long and as we all know Hayes line expands. Well I put off fixing it because I was having too much fun flying rather than take the time to pull the engine to get to the tank and the pick up nipple. Well, after staring at this little project that I'd really want to undertake it came to me. You can use old hole with the stopper as a service port! You can with relative ease fish the clunk out through that hole. And if you have a sacrificial pair of hemostats ..you can bend the handle so it can reach in all the way and remove/install a new clunk line at the pick up nipple. Took all of 5 minutes to fix my clunk line this way rather than pull the engine.

nice tip. Used the access port to put in my fuel magnent this past weekend. Man does that thing work nice. Sucked just about every drop of fuel in the tank out before I chickened out and cut the motor.

Had issues with my tank plug sealing again, but after 1 tank and moving the rubber about a bit it sealed.
