View Full Version : Weight of Rotor Tech 560mm blades?
Quick question...
My first set weighs 101.0 grams per blade.
The spare set I just bought weigh 114.5 grams each.
Anyone weigh theirs??

108 grams was my last set, as long as they are weighted evenly no matter. Abit odd such a big difference though for sure.
Thanks Shawn!
It's obvious there is quite a range in their manufacturing of these blades. If one was damaged, it will be hard to find a matching blade.
I'll call Century on this next week and will report back if I get any good info.

Another thing I noticed is that the 560mm blades are out everywhere I looked in the past. Even though I don't need them now I hope they will be around when I do - or just pick up a set when they go back in stock.
EDIT: I should have said US retailers since I did find them in Canada.
Yes Bruce, I missed the opportunity to buy when the US stores received limited stock :arggg: and just bought from Canada to have a spare set. I just like the 560's and did not want to get caught short. :smokin:
Spoke w/ Heli-World and they know nothing! :arggg: They were willing to weigh one if they had any stock, but did not have any specifications.
Still a great blade, just won't be able to mix sets. Maybe other high-end blades also have this variance:confused:

There has only been one time that I've been able to mix an Align 325mm blade out of about 3 tries so I think there is a lot of variety in weight.

My 560's were 101g I think.
