Finally got to maiden the Rex700. Only got 2 tanks in, but man does it purrrrrrrrrr.
YS91ST and Hatori SB16FH so far seems like a great combo. Man if the 91SR makes more power sign me up, b/c this 91ST seems to have tons of it. I bought this motor with a couple tanks used, so I was happy it started and purred like a kitten. Few needle adjustments and it was hovering nicely. Having a slight issue with gyro drift :(. G7703D, my 5th one I've setup and all others have locked in after mechanical setup. This one drifts left and I think might need to be returned. Will pull one of my known good G7703D's off my 600N sport that is for sale.
Man I can see why when people go 90's they are reluctant to fly smaller helis. I'm in love after 2 tanks and can't wait to fly tomorrow. It's like the first time I hovered again :). :happyd
Only other issue I had was the side plug leaked for a few seconds but I just give it a quick little tweak/twist and it seemed to sit/seal.
Overall, was so stoked. My buddy had his out, and he put 3 tanks through his brand new YS91SR and SB19FH combo on his Rex700. My 91ST seemed a bit quieter, but I suppose with the bigger muffler that might play into it on his.
Look forward to tomorrow and burning a gallon or two :)
