View Full Version : SJM 200 Coming Soon
Check this out - http://www.flying-kit.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=504
Heres the forum just started on RCG - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=899098
Could it be a contender? 350g rtf seems a bit porky but they recommend using 3s 1000mah. It also looks over engineered, like most SJM helis, so it should at least crash well.
I'm very tempted to order now but I think I might give it a few months and see how others get on with it...

Wait a sec. The $75 price looks like it may be a trick. According to the site that doesn't include motor, ESC or blades. Also the US disrtributor is pissed and say's that the company advertising the $75 price is below cost and might get them cutoff from recieving the heli.
I'm gonna wait on this one. It sure does look sweet though.

You can't pre-order them anymore. While I was reading about it on flying-lit, the pre-order now button went away, and now it says out of stock. A bunch of people over at RR ordered them.

I had an SJM 400 and they had the same approach - the servos bolt onto a frame above and below, the frames clamp onto the main column that the main shaft goes through.

That's pretty sweet but where would you find parts?

I would, but I didn't get there in time. You can't orer them anymore. The website states it's out of stock. I will have a SJM 200 before this thing is over. :) Although I'll probably wait until parts are a little more readily available.

This small Asia vendor leaked photos and videos he was not suppose to. Additionally, this 200 class helicopter (the correct and current name is the SJM180) has not been finalized and may change before the official release once ALL the testing has been completed. Buyers beware - if the price and offering seems too good to be true; it usually is. RC-TEK/SJMRC.US is already taking action to make sure the confusion and misrepresentation of the brand name and product is dealt with.

Scott
