What kinda motor, pinion and esc to get maximum flight time? i was thinking maybe the align 3550? I am a noobie so I dont need anything crazy, just maximum flight time.
I like the stock MT stuff more than I like the stock Align stuff, but your LHS may not carry it. The Align 430XL and the 35 amp ESC would be fine.
Fly it with the stock 13T pinion, and go for a headpseed of about 1700, and that's nice and slow and long flight time. May even be more effiecient to run a 12T pinion, but the bird comes stock with a 13 and a 15.
I'd say get the Align stuff if it's a decent price, and go for it with the stock 13. If the ACE ESC and Ripper Motor are available, I'd even say get that, but I'm not sure on price. Buy whatever's cheaper of the two. If you get super into it and need more power, you'll probably replace the ESC and Motor, and it'll likely be a Scorpion.
