Hi ,

I nearly finished my building ( hatori kept me busy sometime , ended up using a 10mm spacer between my YS91ST and the header of the Hatori 999 ) .

Found one problem though I hope no other kits got it aswell .

Wenn I finished building the head I could move the flybarcage with the flybar in it up and down .
There was some endplay between the seesaw and the flybar ( up and down )

I took it all out again and found the problem :
The bearing in the seesaw holder should be 4 mm for the flybar to go through , but mine was 5 mm !!!!!!!!
That was what caused yhe endplay .

Better check your heli's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any pictures in here with Futaba Fasst receiver build in the 700 ?

building again .........................untill the maiden .

he henk,

did you put the tail on yet ? Thats odd about the bearings especially since two other kits from the same run did not have that... did you find some replacement bearings of the correct size already ?

I just checked mine flybarcage on my 700 it has some endplay up and down . Checked my 600N to it also has this up and down play its a very small amount is this normal should this be fixed will it affect flight performance?

Hi,

a little endplay shouldn't affect it , but mine had 1mm play .
I just changed the bearings , there was indeed a 5mm ID bearing instead of a 4 mm ID in the seesaw ...

Changed the bearings and its all nice now .

JD :

My tail is also a few degrees off vertical ..............??????????????????
It's a funny sight when flying it , anobody else have the same problem ????

yes my vertical fin is NOT at 90 degrees with vertical. I believe this is correcet to help with airflow over the tail rotors, down wash and all that i believe.
