No problems on mine, range checked just fine.
Look for a loose screw, or the RX antennea too close to the carbon, it will transmit RF from rubbing, failing bearing, metal to metal, etc. as Carbon Fiber is conductive.
This is a condition related to ALL carbon frames, not just the stratus.

If you build it right, you won't have any problems. I you are running G3 receiver you need to be extra carefull. You might want to modify the antenna's length.

I have never had a glitch problem until about 2 weeks ago. After moving my antenna replacing antenne and eventually replacing rx and 601 sensor and 9251. Well I went on to pull all mechanics out of heli and motor. I finally replaced the whle gyro and it was cured. Man it was truely the last place I looked. I have never even heard of a brain box going out..............oh well.........as a wise man once said " THATS HELICOPTERING ". This had nothing to do with my straus but I took it apart to see if anything was going on. We take it for granted when it all works right don't we............ :bomb:

Well said Clint.
There are as many reasons for "glitches" as there are parts in the machine. That is not any different than with any other carbon fiber helicopter.

My new Stratus after 6 flights went into hold in the hover and exploded onto a brick wall tail first.. Major rebuild ensued, needless to say.. Postmortum revealed the middle mainshaft bearing froze and fused to the shaft. I have replaced all three mainshaft and head bearing with double sealed zzs..
My rebuilt stratus now going strong after 2 cases..
