I have had a Futaba 9z for 15 years and am thinking about buying a 10c. The queston is will I be happy with the 10c????
Thanks for any input!

From looking at the 10C and being able to scroll thru the programming. I think you will be more than happy with the 10C over the 9Z. I also owned a 9Z since they came out in 93, till I got the 12Z last year. After looking at the 10C when it came out a few months ago. I would have no problem with the 10C over the 12Z. Just my opinion.

You will not have any problems programming the 10c. It does have a pretty intuitive operating system. Accessing the different menus (basic and advanced heli) is easy. No menu item is "hidden" and you do not have to drill down into sub menus to access specific settings. The Futaba 6EXH I came from was even a little less intuitive because you had to do multi-button press acrobatics to access certain menus. Not so with the 10c. You hold down the mode button to get to the menu system, and you use the cursor stick to get around press the scroll dial to select, and the scroll dial to change values. When you are all done you hit the end button which will back you out into the previous section. Pretty easy.
I can shoot some screenshots/ short video of specific menus if they would be of value to you.

Thanks for the replys! I am more interested in the feel of the sticks(gimbals) than the programming features/functions.

The gimbals seemed to be the same as the ones in my 12Z just from playing with the 10C for about 15 minutes.

After some research:
"
10c stick assemblies:
HSP79798 ST47BXV(RA)HDS STAM $17.73
HSP79799 ST47BXV(BR)T9C STAM $17.73
HSP79800 ST47BXV(SP)HDS STAM $17.73
HSP79801 ST47BXV(SP)T9C STAM $17.73
The Futaba 14MZ and 12Z transmitters use these stick assemblies:
HSP79358 TFT1500099 STICK ST-52(SP)HT US$144.69
HSP79359 TFT1500100 STICK ST-52(TH)HT US$144.69
The 12FG uses:
HSP79529 TFT1500125 STICK ST-54(SP) AIR US$57.62
HSP79530 TFT1500138 STICK ST-54(SP)HELI US$57.62
HSP79531 TFT1500126 STICK ST-54(TH)AIR US$57.62
HSP79532 TFT1500139 STICK ST-54(TH)HELI US$57.62
The "SP" means that both stick axes have springs, the "TH" means that one stick axis is set up for throttle.
Because you can adjust the throttle ratchet on the 14MZ and 12Z, there are no heli- or airplane-specific gimbals.
