I love the GY401 + S9257 on my HDX450, but it's a big and heavy combination for an already tail heavy bird. I have the LTG-2100T and DS285 on my King II derivative, and they also work very well. On a Belt CP, I would probably go for the Logictech and any fast digital micro servo. If you're going to upgrade, you might as well get something you don't need to upgrade again in six months.

Thanks Mika
I suppose its time to upgrade the esc too and the motor too:mad:
Thing is apart from a slight lack of spare power from the motor and the stock elecrics have performed really well. not one loss of connection, no over heating probs,
the esc is comfortable to touch when I land.
What power soldering iron will I need to solder the new electrcs in my 25 watt one is too puny

I just checked - mine seems to be 60W, and it gets the job done nicely.
I never had a problem with the stock electrics either... All of my Esky ESCs, motors and gyros are still in perfect working order. Guess we just got lucky ;)

You need every bit of 40 watts for Deans and bullet connectors.

Man if your upgrading all that at one time you ought to just buy one of those exi kits and build your self a new heli. Kinda hard to resist that one huh.:)

Whatever you choose it will make a huge improvement over stock.I run the hitec HS 65 metal gear and a Walkera 007 HH gyro. It may not be digital but its a huge improvement for a little $$$$. The 401 is a great gyro I run one on my E Smart 550 with its matching digital servo. Great stuff. Adding HS65 HBs on my cyclic also was an inexpensive way to improve this bird.

Thanks
Yeah I was just looking at the hs65 mg's they seem to be about the best reasonable priced servo's and if I fit a Chinese weighted tail plenty quick enough
was thinking about them for the cyclic too, what does hb stand for?

The HB stands for Karbonite gear train. Its much stronger than the plastic gears. The servo is the same speed and torque as the MG.
