Im so stoked I won a new HELI !! Was at the Fun fly this weekend in Victoria and I won the Mini Titan . This thing looks cool , added to my growing heli squadron including my T-REX 450 SE V1.5 and my RJX X-Treme and now Mini Titan .
So whats the best way to set this thing up for 3D . I understand this is a fast heli , hows the stock motor and esc ? obviously I'll need to get some proper blades , I will likely run Radix 325's on it . Servos on Cylcic I'll go Hitec HS 65MG I think , but for gyro and tail servo Im not sure , mabey the hitec gyro hmm . oh yah and hows the all plastic head in 3D , are there any metal upgrades I should do or weak spots I should know about ? thanks in advance

awsome hah, i wanted that 600N so badly at the surrey funfly.
Get your self basic 65's hb, scorpion -6 and 55a, and you should be ready to rock. stick with the 401 + 9650.
hk-parts.com has cheap parts and upgrades, i always buy from them.
Jet hobbies in richmond also stocks art for the mini, just call ahead and ask.

There is nothing wrong with the stock motor and ESC. They will fly the Mini Titan just fine. Both the motor and the ESC got really hot on my MT and I replaced them with after market ones prior to summer starting. I live in South Florida and I thought why take the chance of losing a motor in flight. Other than the heat, the OEM combo works great.

do I need to run a BEC with the stock ace rc ESC normally I can power the reciever from the red wire on the throttle input from the ESC . theres no mention of this in the instructions .

another question , I was going to use my airthunder batteries for this heli 3S 2200 mAh , thing is I mounted a pack to the heli today and it seems way nose heavy with these , what packs are people using on this heli and how do you find the balance .

I use TP 3S 2200 mAh batteries, mounted on the battery tray. My heli balances very nice.
