Want to see what you're getting for tank time. Please post time and motor/muffler combo
I'm YS 91ST/Hatori SB16FH
Getting about 6:30-7mins of 3d(well 3d for me)
Headspeed at 1960 tach'd using the Align Gov(end point 80)
Motor quit on me today and still had 1/2" of fuel left. Must have been knocking it around pretty hard and drew some air :O. Auto'd in ok though :Bang

8+minutes of fast big sport flying for the first half and the last half practicing flips/tumbles/tic tocs..all stationary. Timer goes off at 8'30" with less than a quarter of a tank and then I practice Autos until I'm on the header.
OS max-91sz-hring with a MPII
Multigov Pro 1800idel1 1900 idel2 mixture control set at 110C at 6500ft elevation

wondering if I need to bring my headspeed down to about 1900 and lean my middle needle out some. In hover I can see oil or maybe fuel just dripping off the deflector, 1-3 drips per second :O
Afraid to lean the YS though as I heard they can go south in a hurry.
My head temps are coming down about 160-180 depending on needle settings and how fast I can get it down and chek.
I do love this YS91ST though and hatori combo. Great running motor, very smooth, plenty of power, and seems to pull the bird about teh air with authority :)

OS91 SZ non-pumped - 20% nitro with red Coolpower oil - cheap and cheerful TT muffler - getting just over 8 mins at 1 1/4 main needle and ~1/3 turn open mid range - just got leaned out and some decent power and running at 1950. Using Hayes clunk line and the OMI fuel magnet,
Hi John,
I was surprised to see you posting on the 700 forum. Just wanted to say that I miss seeing your signature with your model list. It's always interesting to see what guys are flying...
Keep 'em flying.:YeaBaby:
